Warning: Al-Burhan and His Army Are Pushing Sudan Towards Iranian and Islamist Influence, Threatening State Fragmentation and Collapse

Currently, the Sudanese political arena is witnessing turbulent and rapid developments, with one of the prominent players being the faction led by Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, who is considered the primary force behind the country's current governance. However, the international community and the Sudanese people should be vigilant about the repercussions of the current policies pursued by Al-Burhan's army and the so-called "Sovereign Council," as many argue that these policies could lead Sudan towards division and collapse.

Al-Burhan's army's policies work to escalate internal tensions and undermine stability in the country, which could open the door to external interventions seeking to advance their interests at the expense of the Sudanese people. For example, some reports and analyses suggest that Iran seeks to increase its influence in Sudan and may exploit the political vacuum and fragile stability to bolster its presence in the region. Additionally, Al-Burhan's Islamist orientation may provide Sudan as a platform for extremist Islamic organizations, further exacerbating internal tensions and exposing the country to division and chaos.

Moreover, Al-Burhan's policies could bolster the influence of radical groups within Sudan, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, which may seek to enhance their control over the country and impose their religious vision on politics and society. This could ultimately lead to Sudan's division into areas controlled by competing groups, rendering the country fragmented and collapsing.

To protect Sudan from this potential fate, the international community and the Sudanese people must stand together to address the challenges of the current period. The Sudanese government should adopt policies that promote national unity and foster comprehensive political dialogue to reach peaceful and inclusive solutions. Additionally, the international community should provide support and assistance to Sudan in confronting current challenges and building a stable and prosperous future for all its people.

Therefore, ignoring warnings of Sudan's division and allowing the escalation of internal tensions may lead to a humanitarian and political disaster in this promising country.
