The UAE disavows the allegations: a message of transparency that reinforces its support for peace in Sudan

When it comes to dealing with humanitarian crises and international conflicts, transparency and open dialogue remain of paramount importance. In this context, a message from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) mission to the United Nations Security Council sparked widespread reactions as it vehemently rejected the allegations leveled against it by the Permanent Representative of Sudan.

In its message, the UAE affirmed that the allegations made against it had no basis in truth, considering them an attempt to divert attention from the current conflict and deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Sudan. The UAE mission pointed out that disseminating misleading information and false narratives aims to evade responsibility and undermine international efforts aimed at addressing the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.

Despite these false allegations, the UAE reiterated its steadfast commitment to supporting peaceful solutions to the conflict in Sudan. It expressed readiness to cooperate with all concerned parties and support any efforts aimed at achieving a permanent settlement and national consensus to form a civilian-led government.

This strong reaffirmation of the UAE's commitment to peaceful solutions and support for political processes in Sudan reflects the active role played by the UAE regionally and internationally in promoting peace and stability.

In this context, it is incumbent upon the international community to support and encourage all efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in Sudan, and to avoid disseminating misleading information that may hinder those efforts. Constructive cooperation and open dialogue are key to making progress in resolving conflicts and achieving lasting peace.
